The Marriage Counselor Volume 2 Mistress Ivey Books Reviews
This is the second volume in what is quickly becoming one of my favourite Femdom/LFA series'. The Marriage Counselor (Vol.2) was written by Ivey Green (you may also know her as Mistress Ivey.)
The series continues where the first one left off and we are introduced to another couple that gives the LFA relationship style a change. All this is done under the expert hand of Mistress Kathryn - The Marriage Counsellor.
In this volume we meet Fran and Jack. Fran discovers that Jack has a bit of a masturbation problem. Rather than get his jollies from her, more than willing body, he enjoys computer porn. By chance her friend Jane (who is married to Frank) learns of this during a bridge game and as we've read in the first volume Jane and Frank have benefited from Mistress Kathryn's therapy. I'm not going to give too much more away about the details of the story - safe to say that in this one Mistress Ivey gives a lot more attention to the interactions between Mistress Kathryn and Fran.
For me this was the thing that stood out in the book. It's not just good FemDom fiction - it has a message! It's the sexy books that I would love my wife to read (and she has already read How To Set Up An FLR) I feel that this could actually become a fun add-on to How To Set Up An FLR chock full of ideas and insights into the dynamics that could make this work and break the ice for couples struggling with getting into this lifestyle.
Still, one has to remember that it is fiction and it's not a recipe, more like a buffet where you can pick bits that may work and just get hot and horny over the rest.
Here's are some of the gems that I found within the pages; In a pamphlet Mistress Kathryn's practice provided Fran read "By dressing up, you are feeding his fantasies." Such a simple way to explain just how important visual aspects are to men and how much benefit a woman can get by simply taking some time to think about how her clothing will excite her husband.
Further on in the book Mistress Ivey explores some facets of humiliation, trains Fran in the use of a flogger and shows her the ropes around teasing Jacks cock without letting him cum.
Overall I enjoyed this volume more than I did volume one mostly because I really like the characters and the extra details of what happens behind the scenes between Fran and Mistress Kathryn. I can't see that anyone interested in the topic and want to get some inspiration to freshen their own LFA relationships would be disappointed in adding this to their collection of books.
