Solid 4 Stars. Really enjoyed this book! Cute and quick, YA Contemporary.
Fun summer read! I loved reading from the perspective of both characters.
This book is ADORABLE! When I got to the Sardine Game part...swoon. For a clean YA romance, I definitely felt their feels. Oh my goodness, it was perfect. And that's all I'll say because you'll just have to read the book.
This is a fun, summer read, that makes you love summer vacations. So, go read this book.
I loved this book! It was such a cute YA romance. My favorite part was the exchange of Molly, Kenzie, and Gabby when Molly gives them advice based on her relationship. It was so down to earth and heartfelt. I loved the concept of the play that the cousins and friends performed. At times, I just wanted to shake Gabby and Noah and make them sit down and work it out, but I feel like their reasons for not talking things out in the story until they finally face each other are realistic and not contrived. I would love to read more about them. Also, Kenzie seems like a fun best friend!

I just loved, loved, loved reading this book!! The story drew me in immediately. You could feel the tension between the characters -- lots of parts in the story I got that great goosebumpy anticipation feeling. It had fun humor from some of the side characters. The relationships between the siblings, cousins, and various family members seemed on point and just an enjoyable group of people to read about. I am also a big fan of getting to read the view points of multiple characters especially when stop and start points flow as well as this book did between Gabby and Noah.
The only slight knock against the book is that it feels more like a second book in a series. There is a couple in the book, Geoff and Molly, who have been dating for a while and I just felt like their relationship would have made sense as a story right before this one especially with timing of when they starting hanging out a lot with the male main character Noah. This is the first Patricia B. Tighe book I have read so I don't know if their story is actually out there and I missed it? I checked the author's page and it didn't seem like it. I did read that the author is working on a sequel to About Last Summer which I am really excited about!! The end of this book was slightly abrupt but it makes sense if there was always the intent for a sequel.
